Selection of Damping Device
Applications:
Cavitation, water hammer, and pressure spikes may occur in air or liquid systems where flow velocity changes. Examples include rapid valve closure or pump start/stop. These issues can arise at both the inlet and outlet, even at relatively low operating pressures.
Medium Conditions:
In liquids containing particles, nozzle clogging may occur. Vertically installing the transmitter can minimize clogging risk, as fluid flow is primarily limited to the initial startup phase. The volume behind the nozzle is fixed, and the nozzle orifice is relatively large (1.2 mm). The influence of medium viscosity on response time is minimal. Even at viscosities up to 100 CST, the response time does not exceed 4 ms.

Example: HMPCM301-70kGB1C3I6
This indicates the model is HMPCM301, with a measuring range of 0-70kPa, pressure type gauge pressure, power supply 24V, output signal 4-20mA, process connection G1/4, and threaded connection M20×1.5.
